Bio Prof. Dr. Natasja Holtzhausen is a distinguished Full Professor in Public Administration and Management at the University of Pretoria, bringing over two decades of extensive academic and leadership experience to the field. Her profound commitment to advancing public sector governance and education is evidenced by her D Litt et Phil in Public Administration and her long tenure at one of Africa's leading institutions. Prof. Holtzhausen's research is highly relevant to the global challenges facing public administration, with a specialized focus on ethics, anti-corruption, and whistleblower protection. Her work also delves into critical areas such as organisational dynamics, the future of work, and the vital role of education in Public Administration in preparing future leaders. A dedicated scholar and mentor, Prof. Holtzhausen has demonstrated a significant impact on capacity building, having successfully supervised over 40 Master's and Doctoral candidates to completion. Her leadership experience includes serving as the Interim Director and a founding member of the Centre of the Future of Work, where she guided strategic initiatives at the intersection of technology, policy, and public service delivery. Her comprehensive background in curriculum development, research, and high-level academic administration makes her an invaluable asset, and she is passionate about shaping the international agenda for public administration and management education.
