Bio Mingyuan Weng is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at Sichuan Administration Institute, a master's supervisor, a second-term Shuguang Scholar, outstanding individual in scientific research consultation. His main research interests are Chinese politics and grassroots governance. He has published over 30 academic papers in related research fields and has participated in more than 20 research projects. Some of his recommendations have been adopted into policies by relevant authorities. The courses he teaches include 'Problems and Approaches to Modernizing Grassroots Governance Systems and Governance Capacity under the New Situation'.
