Diogo Pereira,

The International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA), a prominent entity under the umbrella of the International Institute of Administrative Science (IIAS), has announced a call for interest to fill Co-Chair positions in its permanent Working Groups (WGs). As the driving force behind IASIA's Annual Conferences, the Working Groups play a crucial role in ensuring the relevance, content, and network expansion of these global events.

With a distinguished network comprising 127 members from 56 countries, IASIA actively engages public institutions, public administration, public service, and academia through its high-impact agenda. The association prides itself on fostering global governance and facilitating meaningful collaborations among professionals in the field of public administration.

IASIA's permanent Working Groups are the bedrock of the organization, shaping the scene and determining the Annual Conferences held in different parts of the world. These groups are pivotal in ensuring the success of the conferences by curating relevant content and attracting a diverse array of delegates, thereby expanding the network and fostering a vibrant community.

IASIA is now extending an invitation to its members who are passionate about public administration and possess exceptional leadership skills to apply for Co-Chair positions within the Working Groups. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who aspire to make a difference in the field of public administration and actively contribute to the advancement of the academic discipline.

By participating in IASIA's academic activities and taking up Co-Chair positions in the Working Groups, individuals can actively contribute to shaping the discourse and impact of public administration on a global scale. This call for interest reflects IASIA's commitment to fostering collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the field.

Interested individuals are requested to submit their application via email to the IASIA Executive Secretary, Mr. Cesar Alfonzo (c.alfonzo@iias-iisa-org), by 19 June 2023.

In line with this commitment, IASIA strongly encourages women professionals to present their candidacy for the Co-Chair positions in the Working Groups. Women's active participation and leadership are vital in advancing the goals of IASIA and fostering a more inclusive and equitable global community of public administration practitioners and scholars.
