IIAS-KSG Mombasa Conference 2024: Call for Papers

The organizers of the IIAS-KSG Mombasa Conference 2024 extend a warm invitation to members of their respective networks to actively participate in the upcoming event by submitting abstracts and panel proposals.

Call for Submissions:

The conference welcomes submissions in the form of:

  • Abstracts (500 words maximum): Researchers are encouraged to cover the research question(s), societal relevance, theoretical framework, data collection methods, and empirical evidence collected.

  • Panel Proposals (500 words maximum): Proposals should include a title, identification of panelists, and a description of the questions they will collectively and individually address.

Submission Process:

Interested authors are invited to visit https://www.conftool.org/iias-ksg-mombasaconference2024 to create an account. From there, they can navigate to the submissions menu and select a track listed on the conference website.

Submission Deadline:

The deadline for submitting abstracts and panel proposals is December 15, 2023.

Notification of Acceptance:

Acceptance notifications will be communicated as promptly as possible, no later than December 22, 2023. If a submission is deemed out of scope, organizers may redirect it to other relevant tracks.

Conference Details:

Submitting a contribution implies a principial commitment to participate in the IIAS-KSG Mombasa Conference 2024. Accepted contributors will be required to pay registration fees, the details of which will be communicated at a later date. Please note that participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses.

About IIAS Conference

The annual IIAS Conference aims to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing among researchers and professionals in public administration. The event provides a unique opportunity for participants to engage in meaningful discussions, share research findings, and contribute to the advancement of the field. 

The IIAS Conference is the flagship event of the IIAS body. It is organized every year in different regions of the world. It lasts one week and consists of three parts: The Pre-Congress Workshops and the Council of Administration meeting, allowing IIAS members and partners to share their agenda with participants: The Congress as such, consisting of plenary and parallel sessions; and The social program.

Stone Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Advancement and Well-Being of IASIA and the O.P. Dwivedi Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Advancement of Public Administration and Public Policy Worldwide, for 2025.
