The International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA), an entity of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS), is delighted to announce the addition of three new members to our network, further strengthening our global reach and collaborative efforts in public administration.

Hunan Administration Institute – Corporate Member, China

We are pleased to welcome the Hunan Administration Institute from China as a new corporate member. The Institute undertakes training courses on theoretical education and capacity-building commissioned by local, national and international organizations. Their inclusion in our network underscores our shared mission to elevate the standards of public governance and foster international cooperation in addressing complex administrative challenges.

Kheta MBATHA – Individual Member, South Africa

We extend a warm welcome to Kheta MBATHA from South Africa, who joins us as an individual member. Kheta’s background and experience will be a valuable asset to our community. Her insights and contributions are eagerly anticipated, as they will enrich our collective efforts to enhance public governance practices worldwide.

Secrétariat Exécutif Chargé de la Réforme de l'Administration du Ministère du Travail – Associate Member, Djibouti

We are also excited to welcome the Secrétariat Exécutif Chargé de la Réforme de l'Administration du Ministère du Travail from Djibouti as an associate member. Guided by the principles of Efficiency, Competitiveness, and Accountability, their objectives focus on assured development and guaranteed economic growth. The Executive Secretariat is at the forefront of administrative reform, working tirelessly to enhance governance and efficiency within the public sector.

We are thrilled to have these new members in our network and look forward to collaborating to improve public governance research, education, and practice together. Their unique perspectives and wealth of experiences promise to invigorate the ongoing discourse among global public governance scholars and practitioners.

Moreover, the addition of these esteemed members marks IASIA’s ongoing expansion and steadfast dedication to global excellence in public administration. We look forward to cultivating collaborative alliances as we navigate the complex landscape of public administration. Together, we are poised to propel progress and innovation in the field to new heights.

The International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA) is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to our vibrant community, further strengthening our commitment to advancing public administration education and practice worldwide.

On August 23, 2024, the ICAPA Steering Committee convened remotely to discuss nominations for the positions of Chair and Vice Chair of the Accreditation Committee, as well as for membership on the committee. 

The committee reviewed a total of 21 nominations, which included candidates for the Chair and Vice Chair.  After thorough consideration of the vetting materials and deliberations, the following unanimous nominations were decided:
