The International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) is pleased to announce the recruitment of Ankita Arya as a freelancer to assist with the Glasgow-based operations related to the EGPA 2025 Conference. Ankita will be working with us for a period of three months.
Ankita Arya is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in International and Comparative Education at the University of Glasgow (UofG). Having already contributed to the marketing efforts for the EGPA Conference on behalf of UofG, she will continue to support this important project alongside IIAS.
Ankita brings a strong dedication to both personal and professional growth, coupled with a practical approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Her passion lies in the education sector, where she is motivated by the potential to transform learners’ lives through quality education.
Her background includes valuable experience in policy making, governance, and strategy development tailored to academic institutions, with hands-on work in higher education. Additionally, Ankita has worked on large-scale skill development projects for government entities, gaining insights into policy-making and project management at national and state levels. She has collaborated with senior board members, educationists, ministers, and government officials throughout her career.

The International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA) informs all interested participants that the extended deadline for submitting abstracts or panel proposals is rapidly approaching. Submissions for the IASIA 2025 Conference will be accepted only until June 30, 2025.

IASIA is pleased to announce the establishment of Working Group XI: Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience, which will explore the opportunities and institutional challenges in integrating disaster risk reduction and climate change for urban resilience. The Group will also examine the crucial role that institutes and universities play in identifying structural gaps in governance and in developing effective training modalities for urban public officials and future leaders.
