In Memoriam of Michalis Christakis

Diogo Pereira,

It is with sadness that we learned about the sudden passing away of Michalis Christakis during the summer.

Michalis was a practitioner: General Secretary of the Philothei Municipality in Greece, and President of the Kleisthenis association of Greek municipalities. He used to chair tracks in the IIAS Conferences on topics related to local governance, including training, strategic management and technologies.

We will remember his generosity and communicative enthusiasm and will miss him immensely in New Delhi. All our thoughts go to his family.
