The European Group for Public Administration (EGPA) will hold its next Annual Conference in Rome, Italy, from 24–27 August 2026, in collaboration with the Sapienza University of Rome.

The European Group for Public Administration (EGPA) celebrated its 50th anniversary with its largest conference in history, hosted by the University of Glasgow’s Centre for Public Policy in August 2025. This milestone event highlighted both the historical achievements and ongoing global impact of EGPA.

During the IIAS Presidential Address during the Opening Ceremony of EGPA 2025 Conference, the IIAS President outlined the 5 commitments for vision EGPA@60.

The EGPA 2025 Conference is just around the corner, and participants joining us in Glasgow, Scotland, UK, from 26 to 29 August 2025 can enhance their experience by downloading the official EGPA 2025 Conference App. The mobile app is designed to enrich attendees’ conference experience by providing tools to plan personalized schedules and receive live notifications throughout the event.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the European Group for Public Administration (EGPA), the International Review of Administrative Sciences (IRAS) has released a virtual special issue highlighting research on the evolution and challenges of public administration across Europe.
