The European Group for Public Administration (EGPA), the Regional Group of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS), is pleased to invite scholars, researchers, and practitioners from around the world to participate in the EGPA 2025 Conference, which will take place from August 26 to 29, 2025, in the historic city of Glasgow, Scotland, UK.
Hosted in close collaboration with the University of Glasgow, this landmark event celebrates the 50th anniversary of EGPA, providing an unparalleled opportunity to reflect on the past five decades of public administration research and envision the future of governance across Europe and beyond.
Why Attend EGPA 2025 Conference?
The EGPA 2025 Conference will bring together leading experts and emerging scholars to discuss key issues in public administration, governance, and policy. This year’s theme, "EGPA at 50: Prospects for Public Administration across Europe," will guide a rich program of plenary sessions, study groups sessions, panels, and specialized workshops.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in insightful discussions on many public governance topics and connect with an international network of academics and practitioners. Ph.D. students are also invited to participate in the PhD symposium.

We invite abstract submissions from scholars and practitioners interested in sharing their latest research and insights. Proposals can be submitted to any of the 23 Permanent Study Groups or special thematic panels.
